Near the beach at Kualoa Ron noticed a red bird fly into a tree. I tried to get a picture, but failed. But he was able to get these two. I didn't see its crest, but did find one picture of the red crested cardinal online that didn't seem to have the crest. Either the feathers are laying back or at some time in either the males' or females' life the crest is not evident. I need to read up on this. It is quite beautiful.
Ron always gets a kick out of posing with dummys. Remember his birthday? This one was definitely not interested in either him nor Denny. She had a wooden expression!Speaking of dummies...maybe not. I'm tired of seeing him on TV day after day!
