PIllar of Fire

Last night, I presented the beautiful billowy white clouds we had seen on Saturday afternoon over the lakes. Later that evening those white clouds turned to what looked like fire. The colors in these pictures have not been photoshopped. They are accurate.

I used to envision the pillar of fire from the Bible as literal fire. Now, I'm wondering if it may have been more like these. We are told in the Old Testament, that God led his people through the wilderness using a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire at night.
