Trust in the Lord

The mountain air is great for Kim. Even though she has spent the last 8 years or so in FL, she is adjusting well to North Carolina. For her 50th birthday she ran up what she calls the '"Squigleys". It is a path with one hairpin curve after another up the mountain side. What a girl!

This picture is of her looking over the countryside from the deck of the home where we ate lunch one afternoon. It is a very pleasant and peaceful view, showcasing God's handy work of vibrant color.

I will praise God and glorify His name. He is our loving father...the one who provides for us and the one on whom we must call to protect us from those who would steal our freedom to worship and perhaps our lives. The Bible is replete with situations where the Lord won battles for His people because they trusted Him.

For example,Joshua 39 :17

" But I will rescue you on that day, declares the LORD; you will not be handed over to those you fear. 18 I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the LORD.' "

We must trust in Him to deliver us this November 2. Pray and vote. If you are inclined to fast, do that as well.
