PInch Me

Hope you can see the expression on his face. It looks to me as  if he is overwhelmed with everything at the new Museum of Discovery at Ft Collins.  He has fallen in love with the place with all it's displays.  He has already discovered so very much and he's been back for more since his first visit less that 2 weeks ago.

As adults we need to keep alive that same spirit of wonder and excitement with learning.  There are new things to see, do and learn every day, if we'll just keep our eyes open.

One place I like to go to learn is the Bible.  One would think that since it is only a book, he/she could learn all there is in  it in a short  while.  However, it is a living  book.  That doesn't mean it changes all the time.  However, a person will get out of it different things at different times depending on what they have experienced and what they need to know now. As much as I study, there are many, many times that a verse or two will jump out at me and shout, "Did you know this?  Did you ever understand these verses in this way before?"

If you are young, try reading the Bible. It is full of wisdom and  instruction. It is all one really needs to learn the best way to live your life.

And if you are old, like me, and you have studied the great book your whole life, try reading it again, in light of what you know now. It should give you a fresh understanding and a familiar comfort that faith affords.

Timothy 3:16-17

New International Version (NIV)
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
