Sarah's Vineyard

Today, ORU came together for lunch at Sarah's Vineyard in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.  We missed one of our members who is suffering from the plague of cold that has been going around this winter, sparing few.

We had a very pleasant time. A very personable and good waitress served us well. Our food was tasty and filling. The restaurant was not really busy and we could hear ourselves talk, which is one of our favorite things to do. You see, we still have more opinions than anyone really wants to know, which is to their detriment to be sure.  As we age, we grow in wisdom which does not always help us keep our opinions to ourselves, but to broadcast them far and wide to anyone who chooses to listen and even to some who have no choice. But of course, that is always for their good.

Even though the sun seems to stream in on us here, it was a rainy spring day. There was a surplus of puddles to cross in the parking lot.

I noticed on the way home a few trees in full bloom, daffodils, crocus and a few other signs of spring.
