Music City Speed Solving 2017

Happy to show a group from Aussie's last World Wide Rubik's Cube competition...the second one he has planned  himself. Handling these cubes is a super talent, but not his only one.  This was held in his area and at his school. It went well and as you will see if you read the layout, two world records were broken there that weekend.

Today is Easter. The word, Easter, was originally a Saxon word (Eostre), denoting a goddess of the Saxons, in honour of whom sacrifices were offered about the time of the Passover. Hence the name came to be given to the festival of the Resurrection of Christ, which occured at the time of the Passover. The Easter bunny has nothing to do with the resurrection. Historically, we have been mixing the two celebrations. Whatever our activities are on the day Easter, we need to make it a point to teach the reason WE are celebrating is the resurrection of the Christ. In my opinion, I see no harm in eating chocolate and hiding eggs. Just don't confuse that with the resurrection, which is the real reason we are celebrating today and always.

I have some good Easter pictures. Hopefully, there will be at least one nice layout by tomorrow night
