Early Snow

Here in Ohio,  we have a little snow.  It was a late autumn, so leaves are still falling like crazy from our oak trees.  Snow covered lawns of grass are very smooth and pretty, but there is a certain charm here to snow covered oak leaves smothering the lawn. Of course that  could be attributed to 'beauty being in the eye of the beholder', or maybe just a positive attitude.  I am enjoying the sight.

These pictures above show our little Julia on her back deck in Colorado, catching snow flakes on her tongue this October the eleventh. It was an early snow. She might not look as if she was ready, but she enjoyed those snowflakes just the same.
