Small Bass

Brittanie has been keeping Ava healthfully  busy during the  Pandemic. On this day back in April, Ava was fishing at Sippo Lake in Perry.  She caught a small bass. Small girl, small bass. Good job Ava!

Julia Concentrates

These pictures were taken on the 12th of July.  It has already been two weeks and we are missing them already. What fun to have little ones around. So short a time in that way, but long enough for me to forget what that is she is doing. I left space on the layout to mention that before I publish the book.

I had to use some photoshopping skills to produce this page. I used four different pictures to complete it. 1. was a  photo of Ashley, Chelle, Mason and Ron. 2. was of Chelle, Mason, Ron and me . 3 was to get the floor without Maggie because she was in the first three. And number 4 was for the room behind me because the angle of the camera caused the doorway to not match up with that behind Ron. Was it worth it? I think so, even though it was quite time consuming, and  I surely do look short.  Well that is because  I am really short!  I surely could have made myself look taller, but I was striving  for accuracy.

Pandemic

Poor Maggie, can't eat her ice cream wearing a mask. She deserves this treat after dealing with all that is going on now. Thankfully Chelle made us plenty of really good masks,  but Maggie's gets in her way.

Shangri-La

John, Bethel Caleb., Oliver, Julia, Ron and I spent the day at April's at Shangri-La on the Ohio River.
This was the sunset over the river. What a beautiful sight.

When they saw all the kayaks on the lakes this year, they decided they wanted some.  We  tried everywhere, but all of them had been sold. It must have been the  Pandemic that brought so many people out.

Since we couldn't find any to buy,  Ron asked our renter next door if perhaps we could borrow his kayaks. He had three and he was very happy to loan them.

The first time Caleb went out, he used an adult paddle and it was very difficult. So we went shopping to Dick's and he bought his own paddle that adjusted to just the right size.  They had a great time exploring the lakes.

At the top is Julia, who is a very active 4 year old. She spent much of the time the 'boys' were out on the kayaks, dancing all around  our yard. She spotted  them quickly on their way back here and ran to meet them.

Time has gotten away from me. I can hardly believe it has been almost 2 weeks since I last posted here. Yes, I've been busy, but not enough to explain my negligence.

John, Beth, Caleb, Oliver and Julia had been here a week...not at all long enough, but they left early today to travel to Columbus where they are now visiting her relatives.

One would expect  I would first post pictures of the little ones. OH DO I HAVE SOME GREAT ONES! Tomorrow will be another busy day, but hopefully I'll have a layout with beautiful children for this blog then.  Check back to see.

Dressed for Prom

No prom. No problem.   Not really, but we'll get over it somehow. Ashley had her dress and accessories already.  She looked gorgeous.
