Because I'm working on finishing a book for publication soon, I'm getting the kid's Florida trip finished. I had gotten behind on that while trying to stay somewhat up to date on everything else. Actually I failed on both. But now I'm working lots of hours. I enjoy doing it, so that is a good thing. I think you will like this one I'm posting tonight. The expressions show it all...and even though I didn't know what they were seeing, I did my best.

Disney World is a blast after blast. It is a lot of fun. These pictures were taken there; but as you can guess, kids can have fun almost anywhere, just being kids.

Time for Beth and Annette to get into the fun on the Star Wars set.

When a family with 3 kids visits Disney World for 5 days, one result is many, many pictures. As a grandmother, I love each one and want to make a book. I really enjoy making the layouts, but I'm so slow now that it takes me forever these days.

Moving is not easy. Just ask Brittanie. This first picture shows her and Kyle in the middle of that task. Glad to say this one didn't take as long as large family, cross country moves, but it wasn't easy either. It was just a couple of days later that the next picture was taken at a much more leisurely time. Move accomplished.

I really don't know what we would do without our ray of sunshine with a waggy tail. She is such a delight to wake up to each morning. This layout is of her. She lays here quite a bit when I'm at my computer. The picture behind her is a piece of artwork I did with colored pencil. It is of Ming, the last small dog we had over 20 years ago. Although Maggie looks a lot like Ming, Maggie is a Havanese, while Ming was a Shih Tzu.

Cathy is quite lovely. Tim gets some really good pictures of her. This is a good example.

Oliver models his sunglasses. They are big, but we can still tell it is him.

Monday, April 18, 2022

The picture is so good, I don't want any distractions on the layout, so I tried really hard. I'm still not pleased, but this last one is my choice...at least for now. This is our youngest granddaughter, Julia. She turned 6 a couple of weeks before this snapshot was taken at a local playground.

Ashley was home from college this weekend for Easter. She was happy that it was also a special anime weekend in Nashville. She attended on Friday and got her brother Mason to go with her on Saturday. I, gramma, am always impressed by their costumes. Chelle with all her problems right now, helped putting together costumes, as usual.

I'm still trying to figure out why and how the Easter Bunny came to Ava's house early this morning. He brought her a bicycle! Has anyone else ever gotten their baskets, etc before Easter Sunday before? I know she is speciial. She is our great graddaughter, but... I am glad he did because now I have an Easter layout to post here tonight.

More from Epcot where Julia got her Mickey Mouse bubble machine.

This is our granddaughter Brittanie and great granddaughter Ava getting pedicures at Belden Village Mall.

Our daughter April was able to spend her birthday with her granchildren this year. We were not there, but we did see a movie of them singing Happy Birthday. Balloons were everywhere. What fun! The pictures on this layout were made that day, April 4 at Londgwood Gardens.

It isn't easy to visit Mexico and Japan in the same day, except st Disney Epcot. They make it easy and lots of fun. Here is a picture of John and family there in February.

Could not resist adding the sombreos even though the guys looked better without them. It just seems like a place for sombreros.

I was really in for a big surprise when I saw this picture of our grandson Mason. I had no idea his hair was this long. He wears it tied back and I hadn't seen him for a year and 1/2. It had clearly grown and it was certainly time for him to let his hair down for this layout. I've been told that this is the way it looks when he first wakes up...unbrushed.

Wednesday, April 6, 2022

Today turned into a very busy one. Added extra activities that were very good for us, but I feel like I overdid it a bit. Would I do it again? Right now I'd say no, but I figure if the chance comes up again, I'll probably not be able to say no. I didn't have time to do any layouts today, but I have not yet posted this one of Oliver and Julia at Disney World...so here it is.

Tuesday, April 5, 2022

Here is another area that wasn't at Disney when we were last there years ago...Mexico at Epcot. And there is Donald Duck. It sure mades a good backdrop for pictures.

Monday, April 4, 2022

I love fireworks and am looking forward to them in July. However, the horrible economy now, may have a big impact on that possibility. Yet, Disney has them all the time. Glad these boys got to see them there in February.

Sunday, April 3, 2022

The Disney movie Jaws was revisited in a personal way with this special ride at Disney World. Caleb, Julia and Oliver enjoyed it very much.

Saturday, April 2, 2022

Boy they took a lot of pictures at Disney World... and I'm glad they did. It certainly is a magical place.

Friday, April 1, 2022

Chelle and Greg have had a lot of stress with health problems in thier family this past year, but they have remained strong. It is good that they were able to celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary on the 26th of March.
Woke up this morning and checked my email. There was a freebie from Scrapgirls to which I immediately took a liking. It hit me quickly that the layout I posted last night was boring, unlike Julia! So I decided to liven it up a bit (quite a bit) with the new freebie. Here is the results.
