John's family lived it up in Nova Scotia. Here at Beth's Dad's house, they were served lobster!

This was a ROCKY beach. Interesting shapes and historical scrathed, the rocks were very interesting.

I'll have more information later about the name of the school, etc. But I'm happy to finally have a layout, even if its over a month late.

School started early. These pictures were taken of Oliver as he left the house for the first day of school August 17.

I'm still not finished scrapbooking their vacation in July to Nova Scotia and now I'm just doing their first day back at school, which was very early this year. August 16th! This layout of Julia doesn't look very schooly, if there is such a word, but I figure her back pack is a good clue.

These pictures were taken at Halls Harbour Falls on July 16 while they visited Beth's father and his wife in July. I"m far behind with my scrapbooking and just did this layout today. I'm anxious to catch up, but I'm just getting slower now. It is extremely hard for me to believe that tomorrow is the first day of fall!

Caleb, Oliver and Julia visited the beautiful campus of Arcadia University with their maternal grandfather, while in Nova Scotia.

Ava on her fifth day back to school. She just lost another tooth. I love this pretty smile.

The kids really enjoyed the beach in Nova Scotia.

This is our great granddaughter, Kendal. She and her mom, Lauren, were on the beach in Delaware visiting with one of Lauren's long time girlfriends.

Finanlly in the ocean at Sand Dollar Beach at Nova Scotia, the kids are in the water, jumping the waves, having a big time with their grandparents Chris and Annette.

This is really overdue. I just found the picture of our granddaughter Lauren and our great granddaughter Kendal this morning. It was taken in June. At least it was this year. Time is going so fast!

After visiting us in OH this summer, John and Beth drove on up to Maine. Here is Beth and the kids at a lighthouse on the coast of Maine. They took so many great pictures on their trip that I'll be busy for months scrapbooking.

This picture was taken back in July, but I'm using it anyway. Our son, John and his wife Beth are celebrating thier wedding anniversary today, 9/9/23. In the picture with them is Oliver, one of their three children. He's the middle one.

Yesterday our youngest great granddaughter was here with her birthday cake and today, our oldest great granddaughter, Ava, is the subject. She has been afraid to ride a bicycle for a long time, but today she has it. And who wouldn't want to ride that beautiful bike? And the helmet to match, WOW. Go Ava.

Yesterday on September 6 our youngest great granddaughter turned ONE year old. What a great day. Happy Birthday Kendal.

Still thinking of fireworks. Not sure why, unless it is because for some reason around here there were lots of fireworks last Friday night. I thought perhaps they were celebrating Labor Day, but I haven't found out whether that was it or not. Anyway, it brought back great thoughts of our youngest grandchildren being here to celebrate the 4th of July, which now means fireworks on the weekend.

I'm really slow and scattered now. That explains why I am jumping back and forth in time with these layouts. I finally got to these fireworks layouts today.

I haven't had time to make layouts yet, but we are all so excited about Bernie. He has a new home and they are all very much in love. He is a real sweet fellow and he is so very happy to live with his new family... And they are so more than pleased to have him with them. I was looking for just the right picture with the family, but no one picture I have shows how very happy they all are. There will definitely be layouts to come. Stay tuned.
