The story is on the layout. The main topic is that Sali and I ended up unknowingly buying the same shirt. We had hoped we would not wear them at the same time, but I had a crazy idea to wear them one day and go to one of our favorite places to eat and have our picture taken for a scrapbook page. So we did.

Fort Collins has lots of good things for children to do and their Museum of Discovery is one of them. These pictures were taken back in March, but I just did the layout today. The kids have finished this school year and will have more time for fun. Hoping to see some pictures soon.

Back in April our friend Becky had a card making party at her home. She really knows what she is doing and she teaches us so much each time we get together like this. That day, she added to the cards some really cool items. Check out these baskets and calendars.

Yesterday I told about the bee in my house. Today I'm telling you all, and reminding myself, to 'bee happy'. No matter what this world may bring us, we can be happy...in the Lord. I am so thankaful to know He will be with us no matter what happens.

The whole story of the bee in our house is on the layout.

While her 'daddy' was working with the rock from the pond, Maggie was nearby exploring and checking out the tulips, which were not there a few days ago.

Sunday, May 22, 2022

These pictures were taken May 2 and Ron is still working on this. We haven't decided where to put the rocks. Any ideas?

Last month we celebrated Easter. Sorry to say the Easter bunny did not come to ur house though. I guess we just had not been good enough. But our grandchildren were visited. Of course they were very good and prepared for him. Here is a layout of Julia and Oliver coloring eggs for an Easter egg hunt. Good job!

This is Robin, one of my very good friends who moved to Florida years ago. This sweet little one is Ellie, Robin's first grand child.

This is Pat. He is our granddaughter Lauren's husband and he was celebrating his birthday. It often takes me a long time to get around to making layouts these days. This was taken on April 25. Happy belated Birthday Pat.

Again I say, it is good to have Ashley home for the summer, well not here, but to her home with her brothers. These pictures were taken when she was home for spring break. She and Mason dressed in three different costumes on the three different days of the Middle Tennessee Anime convention.

Having made the decision for Ava to get her ears pierced, they went to the Piercing Pagoda. The dicision however had been much easier to make than actually doing it. While there, she was very fearful, that fear turned to pain and tears. Yet when it was done, it all turned to joy when she saw that she was now wearing earrings, like the big girls.

I'm glad Beth thought of this. It is a blessing to compare these sweet grandchildren to the ones we remember 6 years ago. The time has gone so quickly. Soon they will be married and have children of their own...no! I can't think like that! We must be allowed to experience and ejoy every single year, month, day! Looking forward to seeing them in person again this summer. Oh the joy!!!

This picture was taken when Ashley was home for spring break. She is now home for the summer. Since Aussie has finished his treatments, it is time for the family to have some fun together again.

Talk about something that can make one feel old, it is this...our oldest son has retired. Yes, retired. It came as a complete surprise to us. We didn't have any idea he was even considering it. But once I thought about it, I'm really happy for him. He can spend more time on other pursuits. Maybe we'll see him more.

It says it all here. Ron has to help me get my books to the publisher now. Is it age? Could be. It is a good thing he thinks like a computer.

Laughing Buck Farm has been a favorite place of Julia and both her older siblings. It has meant so much to them over the years. Whenever they went to school, their days at the farm pretty much ended. It is good to see her get to visit. I love this picture.
This picture was taken yesterday, the 9th of May. We are so thankful that Aussie is now free to get on with his ife. We love and admire him so very much. We anticipate the best.

I got this Mother's Day present on Thursday, and I had time to make a layout yesterday on National Scrapbooking Day. I've had a wonderful day today, thanks to my children.

Friday, May 6, 2022

I've been spending even more time than usual at the computer the last few days...but now, I'm finally ready to publish another book. Tommorow is National Scrapbooking Day and I feel over it at this minute; but I know when I get up in the morning, I'll be ready to begin again. I already have a pretty good start on my next book.

The kids spotted Belle from Beauty and the Beast behind the stone wall.

Monday, May 2, 2022

I changed my mind. Is that still allowed these days? Well anyway I did and I changed the layout somewhat that I posted last night. I don't know about you, but I like it better now. It is now May and I've been working on this book since the end of December. Most of the layouts are from February. That month was a very good one for our son, John and his family...a trip to Florida's Clearwater Beach and then on to Disney World for 5 days. There were LOTS of pictures and I had a great time making layouts. I'm sorry it takes me so much longer to do than in the past. That's why I'm just finishing it today. I'm posting one of the most fun pages here now. It is of Julia.

It's great to see siblings appreciate each other. Being an only child, I always wished I had had a big brother like some of me friends did. So glad to see Julia and Caleb like this. Oliver is very good with her as well...and is also her big brother. She really is a lucky girl.
