We just haven't spent as much time in the boat as in years passed. Maggie and I both miss it.

Our oldest son, Tim, was with us last week. I finally got a picture of him and his dad together.

This picture was taken on the way home from when Aussie rang the bell to celebrate the completion of his cancer treatments. But I'm thinking about it again. I'm sure I will for years to come, until I go home to be with the Lord. What a relief it was for all of us. Praise God!

Our grandson, Oliver, did a very fine job on his first acting assignment. He was the Frog Prince. He learned his lines well and spoke with good inflection. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

When things are hard, we tend to draw closer to God. It is certainly the case now. He is the only one we can truly depend on at present. I pray He blesses our nation. He has told us "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14.

I hadn't done this layout because I never knew what they were watching. I've been told that because they were all in pajamas, it was a cartoon, but we don't remember which one. I finally did it though. I love the expressions on their faces.

I am grateful for air conditioning. We just went through a rough time without it. Oh I know, years ago, none of us had it in our homes. We are spoiled now.

This is another layout from the Ouzel Falls trip. It is our grandson, Oliver, the Junior Ranger. He certainly is an outdoorsman.

At one time, I was a Red Hatter. I really enjoyed dressing in red hats for gatherings. Our group usually got quite a bit of attention. But our local group fell apart and I failed to join another and besides, I had other interests including ORU that took up my time. An old friend of mine, who once lived in Hudson and now even further away, is a leader in the Red Hats and her local group was in Columbus earlier this month for a state wide meeting. She just sent me these pictures and more that were taken at that event. I made this little layout to show all how wonderful she looked that day. She was red hot!

I hope I don't have the information wrong, as in this being the top of the falls. Now that I said that, I'm doubting it is. They probably continue to go up from there. Quite a hike, but very rewarding. I did find out today that these falls are not like this much of the year, only when the snow is melting off the mountain tops.

Everything that needs to be said is on the layout. We had a very good birthday.

Family time means so much, especially when it is spent exploring a new area.

Our youngest son and his family sent us some really good pictures from an outing they had on June 14.The pictures are wonderfully beautiful. I have not seen or even heard of the place myself, but would love to do that some day. It is the Ouzel Falls in the Rocky Mountain State Park. I've been way too busy to make layouts, but they will definitely be coming to the blog soon, hopefully starting tomorrow.

Poor dog. HaHaHa. She is so spoiled. But sometimes life can be boring when everything goes so well. The thing is, she has no way to compare her life to the lives of other pets. She only knows this life. Things are really, really good for her; but she has no way of knowing how well she has it.

It is a good thing Ron enjoys working outdoors; there is always sooo very much to do around here. Work goes on and on and on.

Longwood Gardens is a very pleasant place to visit. I've enjoyed it myself and wouldn't mind going again. It is fun for me to see the little ones there. It will be hard for Hope to let Reagan go to school when the time comes, since all four will be away from home much of the day.

HaHaHa. It's quite early for Halloween, but this layout would certainly work for that. I was just searching through the back of my closet and came upon this outfit that belonged to my mother in law, who was quite the lady. I'm sure she must have carried this off well, while I feel like a clown in it.

I often wonder what Maggie is thinking, especially when she stares at things. She is a very smart dog. Yes, I'm prejudiced. I think because she is mine and has been taught what she knows by me, that she is very special.

I can't take credit for creating this layout today. I have to admit it is pretty much a copy of a layout I saw in the Digital Scrapper Community. As I age, my time goes by more quickly and it takes me forever to do a layout. This one caught my eye and I changed it just a bit to go with the picture I just got of our son Tim.

Seriously, Paulette has been such a great teacher for our Ladies' Class, that she started,many years ago. I've actually learned more about the Bible in her classes than I've learned anywhere else...and I spent 4 years at a Christian College with Bible classes every day. Thank you very much Paulette for your lessons and our discussions over the years.

Yes, I take a lot of pictures of our dog. She is the most picturesque 'thing' in our house... And we do love her! Some days I'd be very lonely without her by my side.

Finally finishing up Easter pages, our three candy lovers celebrate in Colorado.

Hope had several good pictures taken there on their front porch. I wanted to use this layout plan I'd found and I had a hard time choosing which picture to choose. I really should make another layout with the rest of the pictures. They were all good in their own ways.

This is picture that took its time getting to Ohio. It was taken on March 26th. But that is ok. I'm always glad to see them and still slow at getting things done.
