I'm always up after midnight, but for some reason, age I suspect, I'm very tired already and it is just 9:42 as I type. Happy New Year to anyone who sees this after midnight.

Christmas morning and stockings come first. Santa certainly knows what to do. These stockings are stuffed with lots of treats.

As I get older I become more stupid, at least I do more stupid things. For example I can be wearing my glasses and have another pair on top of my head and still search all over the place to find them. I got this DUH! picture to show what I mean, then 5 days later I realize I've been wearing shoes with tags still on them for a week!

It is a tradition and thankfully everyone cooperates. Oliver is wearing his birthday shirt since he turned 9 the day before this picture was taken.

This is our great granddaughter Ava. She is ready for Christmas early. I'm still trying to figure out where the summer went. Time passes so quickly at our house.

Oliver's birthday was Saturday.It was a busy day for him. He had play practice at dance class earlier. He is quite a guy. Happy Birthday number 9!

Caleb's school band performed on December 9th. I was glad to not only get some pictures today, but also some recordings. It is so hard to live so far from our grandchildren. Thank God for good parents who take pictures and videos for us.

I was told why this picture was taken of our granddaughter Ashley. It had something to do with a project at school I believe, but I'm not sure. I will ask again. I hate forgetting things!

April met us at Texas Roadhouse in North Canton last night for dinner. It was a very busy night, especially for a Wednesday night. There was a long line and a pretty long wait. In addition many were coming to get their dinners to go. What a surprise. We finally got in and ate our favorite steak dinner. April couldn't stay long, but she did spend the night and we were able to get a few pictures so that I could make this layout.

I have four friends named Linda. One of them took this picture of me at Rochne's exactly one month ago today. It was a less than good hair day and I decided I needed a hat, so here it is. It does look better.

Our granddaughter Lauren is Kendal's mother. She is very fit. She lifts weights. And it looks like Kendal at 2 months is emulating her. She seems to be going through the motions already.

Our granddaughter, Brittanie, is a good mother. Here she is dressed for Halloween. I really like the costumes she chose for herself and Ava...oh, I don't know for sure she chose Ava's. In any case, I love it.
