Birthday Spice

It is good to be home, but it was especially good to be in Tennessee last week. I got to experience a few days with Chelle, Greg and the triplets: Aussie, Mason and Ashley.
They are very active and to say they add spice to life is an understatement. What fun they are.
Here they were on our outing to the home of a Confederate Hero. Chelle is leaning against what
we learned was not just a slave cabin, but two that were joined together by what we would have called a 'breezeway'. The whole building was known as a dog run, because the dogs would run through this area between the two sections. The farthest cabin in the larger picture is the one she is in here.

In Search of Color

As you know I left home in search of color. Ours was fading except for some maples that were still multicolored and vibrant. Going south didn't help a lot. But there were some pretty trees here at the historical house of Sam Davis. Our visit of the house and grounds was quite interesting. The guides were well informed and made it come alive for us, or at least for Chelle and myself. However, I think much of it was lost on the 7 years olds wh0 were much more interested in playing in the leaves.

Through the Glass Dimly

These pictures of the triplets remind me of a passage in the Bible, I Corinthians 13:12, "Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known."
Right now, we only see a dim reflection or as if we're looking through dark glass, but soon we will see as if we're face to face. We will know and understand when that great day comes and we are ushered into our father's house.

Colorful Personalities

I'm posting this prematurely because some are anxious to see a new layout. Hopefully, I will actually come up with an appropriate title soon for the second page.

Looking for Color

While I'm off line, perhaps you could think about this. Is it prudent to be PC (politically correct)
when it involves national security? Don't jump to any conclusions. Just weigh the facts and
make a decision. We can't afford to be wishy washy any longer.

The Curves Connection

I've been going to Curves since January. I love the girls I've met. Connie works there. I could tell she was a good Christian lady. I knew she taught Sunday school and worked with a charity program. But I didn't know that we were Christian sisters until by chance I visited her church in a nearby city. She was the first person I met when I walked into the narthax.

Scrapgirls Event 09

This group picture was taken in Salt Lake City, Utah October 10. I think Ro might be a little surprised to see her car parked behind us, since she left it in the parking lot by the convention hall. But thanks to her we have all become more and more equipped to do this type of thing.
Since we didn't have the muscle power we needed to move it here, I used 'mouse' power.

I wonder how many ways we could indicate on our license plates that we belong to the fabulous Scrapgirls 'Club'. I'm afraid there just aren't enough to go around, even when we consider we are from so many different states and countries.
