When John was a boy, I always got him his favorite, ice cream cake, for his birthday even though it was in the dead of winter...January. But his wife always makes him something luscious. This year it is a key lime pie. Makes my mouth water. It wasn't big enough to put all his candles on, but then when one gets older, all the candles could start a house fire....well maybe. There wasn't enough room for them anyway, so she gave him one for each decade. That worked out well, came out even. I really can't tease him since I am nearly twice his age now.

After delivering Ashley at Virginia Tech, they drove back toward home and dropped Mason off at his dorm at Tennessee Tech. His dorm door is a winner. Good job Mason. You can keep an eye on all that passes by your door.

It is a very beautiful day on the Virginia Tech campus. This is Ashley and her mom with their mandatory masks. They both have plenty of appropriate masks because of Chelle's sewing skill and artistic eye. Actually Ashley's mask has anime on it...could be Ashley's artistic skill. They both are very creative.

She picked a blue heart and it was good. I'll bet from the look of those cookies, they were all scrumptious. Ava is a lucky girl. I'll bet it won't be long until she is helping.

The kids have always enjoyed the farm...Laughing Buck Farm, the farm school. They went throughout the year. In winter however, during the week, they have school. But Julia, being 4, has not yet started school. So here she is at the ice workshop with friends, while her brothers are online.

I can't add much to the layout above. But I can say we, his family, are all very proud of his good heart. Thank you Greg.

Well I thought I was caught up on my books, but I just found pictures I missed on the last book...and they are good pictures of good memories that must be in a book. Here is one of them taken when the Greene family took Ashley to Virginia Tech to begin her freshman year. After a long Pandemic and Christmas break, she is back to dorm life in Virginia.
