This layout is due to a challenge by Karen Shultz at My Memories Scrapbook site. She gave us a small kit and told us we must use everything in the kit to made a layout. We were permitted other additional items as long as they were from her store. I only added one item, which is the frame. I spent several hours working on it and I am satisfied; but I have to admit, I don't usually spend that much time on one page.

Yesterday was my birthday and today was Ron's and I've been feeling badly for both. Getting old is not for sissies, but then I guess you've heard that before. One thing that cheers me is pictures of the family, especially of the littlest grandchildren having fun. Here is a layout of Julia enjoying puddles.

On May 25th of this year Julia and Oliver had their first family bike trip. They went with their mom along the canal while big brother Caleb and their Dad went on a longer tour. They were pleased to be able to do that. We are proud of them all, including Mom and Dad.

While Brandon was in Florida, he was able to visit with his girlfriend Hannah. This picture was a little hard to work with, since it was taken into the sun; but I loved it so much I did the best I could to fix it well enough for this layout of them both at a restaurant on the beach. Glad he had such a nice vacation, but sad he had to go back to work in Tesas.

This layout would probably pass for current if I hadn't put the date on it. That is right, these pictures of our grandson were taken April 12 of this year in Vail, Colorado in a heated outdoor pool.

I would venture to say that not many of us have done this...oh, we may have taken that position, but to stay there while using our electonic devices, I really doubt it. I'm really glad Beth got this picture. It is something we can't forget. I figure that someday Julia herself will be amused by it.
