I really don't like this picture, but it is all we have. We had a good dinner at Carrabas to celebrate our 54th anniversary. I forgot all abut a photo, I had planned to ask someone at the restaurant to take one, but I forgot. So when we got home, we took a selfie.

Bethel was the cousin who lived with us one year. It was a good experience for both of us.

I'm not thrilled with these pictures or the layout. I am however thrilled that we were able to get out and eat at a restaurant...and that it was very, very good. The story is on the layout. Hoping we get to eat there often.

I'm not sure where this was taken, but they had just left the lakes and were on their way back to Colorado. I love the pleasant look on Oliver's face. He is toadily pleased.

Our son in law holds down a very important job, seriously. However, he can still be a card. It is true that he is very well rounded. In June while he and his family were visiting his relatives in Florida, he was able to get together with his old friends from high school days. It looks like they must have had a lot of fun together.

Mason has been working long hours at Chic-fil-A. He needed transportation for work, so he made the big decision to buy his first car. And it is a beauty, a fire engine red Nissan. He is quite proud of it as you can imagine. He will be using it a lot since he will be working and going to college classes. Unlike his siblings who are staying at their colleges, he will remain at home this year.

Sorry I have been away from this blog for so long. It has been a rough summer with my health a big problem, culminating with Covid this last few weeks. I'm over it now, but it has left me very weak, so I'm still laying low. I've felt so badly that I haven't kept up with my scrapbooking which is ordinarily my favorite time filler. Hopefully I am back now, even though I'm still not wholely back to normal. John's family has had a good month in OH. He is able to work while he travels. He was here a couple of times during their vacation, but they spent even more time in the Columbus area and especially near Lake Erie where Beth's mother lives most of the summer.
