The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is an annual event. It had been a couple of years since they had gone, but they finally made it again this year. I hope some day they get to go up in one. It is one of the best things Ron and I have done and I would like to do it again.

School is back in session. Schedules have changed. Fall is officially here. Summer went SO fast. But that is normal for my age. I suppose fall and winter will do the same. Today I'm posting a layout of our great granddaughter Ava waiting for the school bus on her first day back to school. Love that pretty smile!

These pictures were taken August 23, the day Maggie was last groomed. We had been concerned about the cost, but knew it needed to be done. It helps that we save a lot of money on my hair, since all I do with it is have it cut by a good friend a few times a year.

In August our Colorado grandkids who were here in Ohio in July, made a day trip to the Rocky Mountain National Park. I think the main purpose was to get their Junior Ranger badges; but they had a great time and plenty of pictures to prove it.

This is a picture of our grandson, Aussie's makeover. I cannot take credit for this interesting circle behind him. I found it on a Digital Scrapper Community page and copied it. It had to be very difficult to make and I have not been following the lesson plan, so I have no idea how it was done. It looks very tedious, but I would imagine if I had gone through the class there, I would be able to do it. I was working on a layout with Aussie and it struck me as just the thing, so here it is. You know I just copied it and you know where to find it and the one who did the work.

This is really exciting to introduce our great grand baby Kendal Olive, born this morning.

I can hardly believe I haven't posted a layout before now. Sad to say I missed posting 4 days in a row for no reason. I just forgot to do it. The one here today makes me giggle. At bedtime everyone was pretty tired , except Julia, the youngest. I believe she could have kept going for hours. Well I neglected to reference her grandmother who is a night owl herself. I rarely go to bed before 12:30 AM. Perhaps she takes after me in that way.
