I'm finally posting a back to school picture of our grandchildren out west. Both Julia and Oliver are at Dunn this year and their mother, Beth, is working there as well.

Visiting the mountains and walking the trails is one thing, climbing them is redically different. Caleb decided to do just that and while his family watched, he climbed.

Ron refuses to get old. He pushes himself. I do to a certain extent, but I don't go all out like he does. He should have quit climbing tall ladders years ago, but no... Here he is up on the roof blowing off all the dead leaves, etc that have landed up there. Sad thing is, we have had at least two friends who have fallen fron ladders and broken bones.

Wish I had been there. What a peaceful site to see these balloons, reflected in the lake, rise into the cloudless mornng sky.

Julia doesn't want to miss anything, so she just does it all. Well I'm sure there must be something she doesn't do, but she surely fits a lot into her days. So when does she have a chance to read? No problem, that is at the top of her list.

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is an annual event. It had been a couple of years since they had gone, but they finally made it again this year. I hope some day they get to go up in one. It is one of the best things Ron and I have done and I would like to do it again.

School is back in session. Schedules have changed. Fall is officially here. Summer went SO fast. But that is normal for my age. I suppose fall and winter will do the same. Today I'm posting a layout of our great granddaughter Ava waiting for the school bus on her first day back to school. Love that pretty smile!
