This is Aussie at Bear Tooth Pass in Wyoming. He and his dad have been to Wyoming two years in a row. It must be a good place to get away from it all. I suggest they go to The South Dakota Badlands next time. I would love to see the pictures from there. There are very few states I have not visited and the Dakotas are 2 of them. We had planned a trip there once. We were going to rent one of those big camper buses. But something came up and we couldn't go. So I would really like to go see them, but at my age, that is not likely. If someone close to me goes and takes pictures that would be the closest thing to my being there myself. Don't we always enjoy seeing our family and friends having fun?

We are very proud of Caleb and the decisions he makes. He is a hard worker and always does his best. We are praying for a great year at his new school. He is now in sixth grade at Lincoln IB World School.

The story is on the layout. The good news is. We had Covid and now we are immune. I praise God for that quick recovery.

Julia has only had one Happy Meal from McDonald's and with it she got a very good friend. She calls 'her' Ice Berg. They have been very close. She has taken her everywhere; but the first of August they were packing to go back home to Colorado...and Ice Berg was left behind. I was not told about it, but when she turned up here looking very lonely I told John and Beth that she had been found. I will be sending her on a long journey all by herself. I hope she is not afraid and will be very happy to see her girl, Julia again.

We are going back to July for this one. I am trying to catch up. Here are John and Beth's kids by Lake Erie at Lakeside, where they stayed with Beth's dad Chris and Annette. They were in a goofy mood, at least Julia and Oliver were; so we have some goofy expressions here. So cute!

School has started back in some areas. Colorado is one of them. Our grandchildren are glad to be back to school with friends. Julia is going for the first time. She is in kindergarten and although she is not at all shy with adults, she is with other children. She is however doing fine. Their mom and dad are happy about their teachers and we are looking forwrd to a good year. Caleb has one problem. He has to make choices because he can't do everything. But that is pretty much what he would like. He has complained that he hasn't learned anything yet...He has been such a good student even on his own time that he is pratty far advanced beyond his grede. Of course he wants to do all the sports as well. So far he is running cross country and plans to play soccor. If you read on the second layout here, you will see that John and Beth either walk or bike with them to school (one mile each way) daily. Let's pray for all those returning to school, that this will be a safe and profitable year.

Trying to catch up with my scrapbooking. This is from last month, July 11. Canal Fulton celebrates Canal Days every summer and this is Ava with a couple of friends enjoying the weekend.
