MORE SNOW
I know it is only February, but it feels like it has been snowing forever. I love it in some ways. It is beautiful. But I'm ready for a little global warming, climate change...whatever they want to call it.
Everyone in Ohio should take all their aerosol cans outside and spray away. LOL Wish it were that easy. Shoot we can't even forecast the weather well! What gives us the idea we can cause changes in it? Ignorant arrogance , that's what!
Dad was a chemist. He said in the lab if you released fluorocarbons, they would 'roll' to the floor. They don't go up. Do I believe the conjecture that they deplete ozone in the stratosphere? NO KOOK Science for me!
Enough of my opinions, I'm adding my scrapbook page with a picture I took last night just before we entered a white out on the way to be with friends in life group.

What the World Needs Now
What the world needs now is love, Christian love, and lots of it. It is so comforting in times like this to have true friends that we can count on through no matter what. Here is a group of us on Valentine's Day. Ron and I can say that we sincerely love every one of them, faults and all. Of course they don't have any... not in our eyes.
Jesus loved mankind so much that he died to wash away all our sins. Praise God! Thank you Jesus.

Chameleon
In this PC climate it might be a good idea to keep my mouth shut and 'blend in'. I'm practicing here on my friend's sofa. Don't I look chameleon like?
Don't think it will work however. I just can't keep quiet about the injustices perpetrated by our very own government. We have fiddled while our youth were fed lies in their 'history' classes year after year. And now we are reaping what we let be sown in the American schools. Shame on us! And God bless you home schoolers.

Advice for Valentine's Day
Although this advice might not be marketable, it is wise. Believe me, a woman! You need to do something nice (not necessarily buy things) for your honey today...and tell all those you love how much you care for them. You never know when it will be too late.
I'm telling all of you, friends and family, I love you... and thanks for checking my blog.
I have uploaded two of my scrapbook pages for you to see today. One of Ashley and one for Hubby. I wish I had one for each one of you. But stay tuned. Your day will come.
Also check out this on Chelle's blog: Valentine Wish (Feb 13) for pictures of the grand triplets.

Doomed
I'm trying to look positively at this stimulus bill that was shoved through Congress today. How many congressmen do you think read all 1,000 pages between 11:00 last night and when the vote was called today? ... We are now a Socialist nation. Down with the Republic. Redistribute the wealth. Hey wait! There is no way to get something positive out of that! We are doomed.
Examine history. How long did it take nations to go down the tubes once the people all decided they deserved the same as everyone else, no matter what they produced? Forget it. Don't study it. You'll just be depressed. Either learn to live in LaLa Land, or get out the vote for a new congress.
Wake up kids before it is too late. If you want to amount to anything when you graduate, work hard. Run for office. Politicians are now above the proletariat ( that's the rest of us) . Don't blame me. I told you so.

'Mandatory' Exercise
My opinion is: the government doesn't need to do anything for me but protect me from enemies of my country and 'big bad guys'. Isn't that the only responsibility our government has? Has anyone read the founding documents lately? Every opportunity they have, however, 'they' get themselves into the middle of things that are too big for them to handle well.
Now they are sneaking into mandatory exercise. Don't believe me? Well, my Medicare supplemental insurance, Anthem, now provides a membership to Curves with it's Silver Sneakers program. Sounded good to me. I signed up and exercise three times a week. I am not likely to miss either, because Curves has to send paperwork to the government proving I have worked out at least 10 times a month!
I realize they feel it is good for me ( I would have never figured that out on my own and I really don't have the will power to do it without this chain around my ankle) . But...

My friends and I have started a service at ORU...Opinions R Us. We want to tell the world how to live. We have the answers. The following layout shows our card with the print enlarged for your enjoyment. Perhaps YOU need us.
Notice, since we are not equipped yet to go nation wide, the phone number, if translated into letters, would be FAKE NUMBER.

Gramma's Snowman
I have a silly thing I do (obviously not the only silly that I do). Whenever Chelle sends me a picture of my grand triplets doing something exciting, I like to do it too...and send them a picture. It's the next best thing to being there with them. Today, I tried to build a snowman. It was too cold and the snow, which was pretty much ice, wouldn't pack well. But I did my best.
The scarf on the snowman's neck shows what a pack rat I can be. It was Chelle's. Her snowmen and her brother's always wore this same scarf.

Snow Miracle
This winter has given me a new appreciation for snow. It is God's glorious answer to those who want to take control of His weather patterns.
