Yesterday, August 26 was our anniversary. We have been married 53 years and have had several dogs, but our present dog baby is more loved than all the others combined. Before Ron was always away from home with work, etc. Now he is home most of the time. And there are no longer any kids around to keep my attention, so we spend lots of time with Maggie. I've not spoiled her. She is obedient, but she sure does crave our attention and we love her mutually and she knows it!
Yesterday was also National Dog Day and as usual Maggie has to take a back seat that day. She doesn't get the attention she deserves. This is for her.
