Simple Life of a Little Boy
Caleb visited the 'farm' and had a great time. You can see he really got into 'driving' the big red tractor. I'm pretty excited about him coming to see us soon. He will love his grampa's red tractor.
Look at that fellow go. It wouldn't be right to call him a toddler anymore. What a big stride he has.
Well I suppose if you've been awake today, you've probably heard that the Obama birth certificate is a fake. It is just too obvious to those of us who use Photoshop. What were they thinking? Of course it could just be buying them time or covering for something even worse they are about to do. If we keep our attention on this, they'll submerge us even further.
Who knows the mind of the devil? All I've been told is he is evil and devious. He lies and tempts us with what we shouldn't have. May God shine His light over the earth so that we can see what we should see.

Blossoms of Spring
What more can I say than just BEAUTIFUL? Beauty personified, the loveliness of God's creation.
Ashley, our eight year old flower admires the blossoms of spring.
Now to stretch it a bit from flowers to a more specific bloom... "He never promised a rose garden. There has to be a little rain sometimes." This has been a cloudy, rainy year as in the weather and even more so the fall out of a government gone bad. But God promised to be with us through it all, both good and bad. I just pray that he sees fit to help us emerge from the constraints that have been dropped on us and become a free nation once again. Free to create, work and share our talents. Pray people, pray.

Defy Gravity
Greg captured Aussie's jump Saturday April 2. Cool picture! As a grandmother, I'm just wondering how close he was to that wall. I'm not over protective or anything, just, oh well. He didn't get hurt.
I'm not suggesting that any of you should go out and find a wall and try to defy gravity (or jump off it) but we do need to defy complacency. If you are still not concerned about the state of our nation, I'm concerned for you. The reality is, we are on our way out unless we pull in the reins on our government and take back some of the powers they have usurped over the years. We must cut taxes and allow for private enterprise to make their way back. We need to make it profitable for companies to make ends meet without seeking out workers in other countries who will work cheaper. We must not expect more than a job is worth. We have over valued our skills and work ethic. It's time to go back to working hard without expecting the moon.

It's All About the Cross
I really like the tradition at the church the triplet's family attends. Each Easter the people take individual flowers to decorate their cross. It is beautiful and makes a lovely backdrop for pictures. And the kids enjoy being a part of the celebration.
It is all about the cross. Easter Sunday is the celebration of Christ's rising from the dead. He died a cruel death, but he arose to give us promise of eternal life. It is a wonderful comfort to know that no matter how bad things may get here on earth, eternity will be paradise with Jesus our Lord and Savior with God in Heaven. Just thinking about this promise makes me want to break into song. And How Great Thou Art comes to mind.
Carrie Underwood sang that very song on CBS Friday night. If you missed her there or if you just want to listen over and over again as I do, click on this link: Carrie Underwood Sings Oh Lord My God

Caleb's First Easter
I've had a little trouble tonight, so I've cautiously published the picture first. Last time, after I had written a little, safari failed and left me with no blog. PSE had already frozen on me tonight, saying it was out of memory. I could understand if I were on my laptop, but not on this big newer Apple. I don't want to wake Ron to check it for me, so I ran with my unfinished PSD. Tomorrow night, if we get everything working right again, I will yank this layout and post the finished product. In the meantime, Caleb's face will brighten the blog. (This morning Ron was able to fix everything just by cleaning my Mac. So the layout you see is the finished product.)
Beth made his Easter outfit, including the bike cap. He looked so cute and naturally he loved the Easter basket with goodies. It is obvious he likes to eat.
He managed to learn how to put the plastic eggs back together, but couldn't take them apart. Hmmm. I don't quite get that. But as much as anything, he really enjoyed shredding the tissue paper that was in his basket...as you can see. He fell asleep while tearing. It was a busy day for a little boy. Church and an Easter basket all in one day. It was a HOPPY day.

An Easter Baptism
We are joyous that our grandson, Aussie, has given his life to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was baptized on Easter, April 24, 2011 by his dad.
"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." Romans 6:4

Exciting Weekend
My layout tonight is one of a bragging grandmother, so if you can't stand that, just look at the picture and skip the journaling.
Leah provided our joy yesterday. She graduated from Flagler College in three years.
Tomorrow night I will brag on another grandchild. And the night after that, it will be yet another one of our sweethearts. We have plenty to talk about these days.
