The Lego Competition is a great motivator and learning opportunity for young minds. The project this year was to build a robot and program it's movement. Our triplets are part of the Antioch Innovators team, which took third place for programming, out of the 59 teams competing this year. Programming is Aussie's thing and he is quite happy to receive the reward. He jokingly said to his family," This is like the Olympics for Nerds. "
Our children are our best resource. They are our future.
It is with flowing tears that we acknowledge the obnoxious act of a 'troubled' man who murdered his mother and then 26 innocent little children at school. We can not imagine the horrendous affect this will have on the children who survived this traumatic ordeal.
What is wrong with these people who have no respect whatever for life? Has Satan been unleashed for a final rally throughout the world? It is time for us to turn to the Lord for comfort and to allow Him to lead us. I am asking God the Father now for protection for the innocent from these monsters.
I also ask that our God will comfort the hearts of those who lost their dear little sweethearts today to this fit of idiocy.
