Mana Waipuna Waterfall

There are so many waterfalls in Hawaii and Kauai certainly has it's share. We saw several from the helicopter. This one, Mana Waipuna, is one of the waterfalls on the southern slopes of Mt. Walaleale. If we look closely at the larger picture and the close up that Teece is taking, we can see the fall above it as well. I don't know if that one is considered part of Mana Waipuna fall, or not. In any case, I do not have another name for the one at the top. Does anyone know?

Water can be a wonderful thing, both beautiful and life giving; but it can mean death as well. Much of Tennessee is experiencing that side right now. Thank God for the people who are pitching in to help the many, many whose lives are changed by this tragedy. You can do so as well. I'm sure there are several agencies who are helping. If you don't know of any, check with the Red Cross, or google it.
