Sad Day

It's been a sad day. Actually it's been several weeks of sorrow, knowing that Teresa and Layton are moving. Tomorrow is the day. Over the last year, Teresa has been called to help with her mother and father and she's gone to see her children and grandchildren, leaving us here in Ohio wanting her company. But we knew she'd be coming back soon. Now, that is not the case. They will be citizens of  Florida with another home in Texas.

I'm just praying  the election goes well and we won't have to be constantly concerned there won't be any money for travel (fuel too expensive) or that movement from one area of the country to another will be discouraged.

I'm really thankful for the internet and iPhones.  As long as we have a satellite, we should be able to keep in touch.

She and I are trying to keep positive on this our 38th day of prayer for the election, knowing that God is in control.

"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.  And whenever you stand praying if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses."  Mark 11: 24-25

It's coming down to the wire. Polls show a very close race. Pray harder, thrusting his  word.
