Caleb and Vail

Vail is a lovely place, one that I'd really like to see in person.  I really need a bucket list.  These pictures were taken by John and Beth on their little trip in late September.   I love the interest Caleb showed in Albert Einstein.  Cute.

I suppose I should just go entirely to a scrapbooking blog. It seems I'm tiring more easily and lacking motivation to dig into the news today. Yes, I'm tired from work. It has been a trying day. But I'm also tired of seeing our country fall into the hands of communists while it seems no one is doing anything....or at least no one is doing enough about it.

Do you remember when Nikita Khrushchev appeared at the U.N. and banged his shoe on the podium?  It was on September 29, 1959. I remember it clearly. It was quite frightening.

Here is the exact quote:

"Your children's children will live under communism.  You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright; but we'll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you will finally wake up and find that you already have Communism.  We won't have to fight you; We'll so weaken your economy, until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands."

Okay, there it is. It seems that each night when I'm too tired to even think about the situation, I am inspired some how.
