Longwood Gardens

While in Pennsylvania to visit our daughter and son-in-law and grand daughter, we drove over to Kennett Square to see the Longwood Gardens. Decorated for Christmas with all the flowers of the season, it was a lovely sight. The place is so beautiful that I've decided I must visit several times during the next year while April and Tim are still located close by.

The gardens were first established by the DuPont family and are phenomenal. It was a cold day and we were not really prepared to do any outdoor tours, so we saw mainly those indoors. Still, it was a magnificent visit and I look forward to my next trek to PA.
