Balloons
When I was a child, my 'Aunt' Viola Mollohan (Actually I think she was my mom's cousin.) lived not far away and worked in a rubber factory and made balloons. She would save up seconds and bring them to me. They were very colorful and there were several different shapes. I really liked to get them...but I didn't learn until I was much older that one could make animals, etc. by tying and twisting them together. My friends would always come share them with me. So they were a treat for the whole neighborhood.
They bring back warm memories. But now they just remind me of Progressive politicians...you know, FULL OF HOT AIR.
