We thoroughly enjoyed the fireworks over the lake again this year. We left the house earlier in the day to claim our place near the set off point. It made for several hours on the boat, but it was worth it. In the pictures are April, Chelle, top of Ashley's head, Greg and the boys, Aussie and Mason. Not pictured were Ron, our friend Phyllis and I.We had a little problem when Ron dropped his glasses in the lake while setting the anchor. And more when that anchor was not sufficient to keep us stationary. A man in a boat near by was compassionate and offered to let us secure our pontoon to his. Then we were free to watch the sky for 30 minutes of fireworks.
God bless the USA and especially the truly good people who make up the backbone of our country.
