The son, John, I mentioned here on Wednesday drove in with his wife and 2 year old boy from Colorado and surprised us. When he was here in our driveway, he texted Chelle to let him in the garage. He then called his dad to do FaceTime. As Ron was talking to him, thinking he was at home in Colorado, Beth and John (carrying Caleb) walked quietly in the back door and right up to him while still doing Face Time. Ron continued talking to Caleb until John finally turned his phone toward Ron's face. Ron couldn't understand why his own picture was there instead of Caleb. Then our daughter and I told him to look up. John was standing right there in front of him. To say he was surprised was certainly an understatement.
We are so very glad to see John, Beth and Caleb. Now we have a house full. Chelle, Greg, Mason, Ashley and Aussie...and John's dog, Rado who is very interested in our cat, Chipper. That seems to be mutual.
